A Praia de Itamambuca talvez seja a mais conhecida praia de Ubatuba por estrangeiros. O surf é o esporte responsável por essa fama e popularidade entre os estrangeiros. Não por mero acaso.
É considerada uma das melhores praias de Ubatuba para surf e, apesar das ondas serem mundialmente conhecidas, a zona de arrebentação é extensa. Em outras palavras, as ondas maiores quebram longe da areia e, por ser uma praia rasa, é comum a presença de crianças.
No canto direito da praia se encontra o Rio Itamambuca. Como a praia é cercada pela natureza, em muitos trechos é possível aproveitar as boas sombras das árvores e dessa forma relaxar e se proteger do sol.
Com cerca de 2 km de extensão, suas areias claras e finas são deliciosas e, caminhar ou correr pela orla, é prática comum e agradabilíssima.

Itamambuca Beach is perhaps the best known beach in Ubatuba by foreigners. Surfing is the sport responsible for this fame and popularity among foreigners. Not by mere chance.
It is considered one of the best beaches in Ubatuba for surfing and, although the waves are world-renowned, the break zone is extensive. In other words, the larger waves break far from the sand and, because it is a shallow beach, the presence of children is common.
In the right corner of the beach is the Itamambuca River. As the beach is surrounded by nature, in many stretches it is possible to enjoy the good shadows of the trees and thus relax and protect yourself from the sun.
With about 2 km long, its fine and clear sands are delicious, and walking or running along the shore is a common and very pleasant practice.
Finally, for non-surfers, Itamambuca Beach is an experience, synonymous of being in tune with nature, disconnecting from the everyday life and relaxing. It is capable of providing some of the most complete experiences in Ubatuba.
